By U.K. GHOSH Semapur Factory, Purnea District A male, aged about 55 years, attended hospital, 7th May, 1941, with fever, pain and a few erUP ?a3 on his face. He was kept under observation and T", given alkali with sodium salicylate mixture. On the eruptions were worse, smallpox was diagnosed a the man was segregated. Gradually, it conformed the confluent type and he had small punctiform rhages here and there. The skin of the hands a > feet, legs and thighs formed into multiple supernc , abscesses wifh formation of ulcers on the dorsum .
